COMMENDATION

These praises and prayers I lay at Your feet,
O Virgin of virgins, O Mary most sweet.

Be my true Guide through this pilgrimage here,
And stand by my side when death draws near.

V. Deo Gratias.

Antiphon: There is a bough in which no blur of either kind, original or wrought, hath touched the Virgin rind.

V. In Your Conception, O Virgin, you were Immaculate;
R. Pray for us to the Father, Whose Son you bore.

Let us Pray

O God, Who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary prepared a worthy habitation for Your Son, we beseech You, that as by the foresight of His death You exempted her from all stain, so we, purified by her intercession, may come to You, through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with you together with the Holy Spirit, forever and ever. Amen.
